Über mich…
Diese Website ist mein persönliches Fotoprojekt. Sie trägt den Namen „kho-im-www“, denn „kho“ sind meine Initialen und das Kürzel, mit dem ich meine Bilder signiere.
Seit 1995 fotografiere ich auf Reisen, bei Wanderungen und bei Ausflügen.
Dabei geht es mir nicht um technische Perfektion, sondern darum, Momente und Emotionen festzuhalten.
Die Galerien zeigen einen Teil dieser Reisen. Manche führen ans andere Ende der Welt, andere beginnen direkt vor der eigenen Haustür.
Da immer wieder neue Bilder und Galerien hinzukommen, lohnt sich vielleicht ein weiterer Besuch.

Womit ich fotografiere
Viele Jahre habe ich mit verschiedenen Nikon-Kameras fotografiert. Heute habe ich meist nur noch das iPhone dabei – aktuell ein iPhone 14 Pro.
Die Nachbearbeitung und Verwaltung meiner Bilder erfolgt mit Adobe Lightroom auf dem Mac. Entscheidend ist für mich jedoch nicht die Technik, sondern der Moment – und was ein Bild später erzählt.

About me…
This website is my personal photography project. It is called kho-im-www because "kho" are my initials and the signature I use on my photographs.
Since 1995, I have been photographing during my travels, hikes and day trips.
For me, photography is not about technical perfection, but about capturing moments and emotions.
The galleries present a selection of these journeys. Some lead to the other side of the world, while others begin just outside my front door.
As new photographs and galleries are added from time to time, it may be worth stopping by again.

My equipment
For many years I photographed with various Nikon cameras. Today, I usually carry only my iPhone with me – currently an iPhone 14 Pro.
My photographs are organised and edited in Adobe Lightroom on my Mac. In the end, however, it is not the equipment that matters to me, but the moment – and what a photograph still has to say later.
