Feacham Bay liegt an der Nordostküste von Baffin Island im kanadischen Territorium Nunavut und bildet eine Nebenbucht des Buchan Gulf. Die Region ist geprägt von schroffen Felswänden, Moränenlandschaften und weiter Tundra, die im kurzen Sommer von Moosen, Flechten und kleinen Bächen durchzogen ist.

Die Bucht zeigt deutliche Spuren früherer Gletscheraktivität und ist nur während weniger eisfreier Monate im Jahr zugänglich.

Archäologische Funde, darunter Überreste halbunterirdischer Rundhäuser der Thule-Kultur, belegen, dass hier einst Inuit-Vorfahren lebten.

Heute gilt Feacham Bay als weitgehend unberührte arktische Landschaft, in der Natur, Klima und Geschichte eng miteinander verwoben sind.

Feacham Bay is located on the northeast coast of Baffin Island in the Canadian territory of Nunavut and forms a side bay of the Buchan Gulf. The region is characterized by rugged cliffs, moraine landscapes, and expansive tundra, which in the short summer is dotted with mosses, lichens, and small streams.

The bay bears clear signs of past glacial activity and is accessible only during a few ice-free months each year.

Archaeological finds, including remains of semi-subterranean round houses of the Thule culture, indicate that Inuit ancestors once lived here.

Today, Feacham Bay is considered a largely untouched Arctic landscape, where nature, climate, and history are closely intertwined.
