Korsør – Küstenstadt am Großen Belt

Korsør ist eine Küstenstadt im Westen von Seeland, gelegen direkt am Großen Belt.

Die Stadt gehört zur Gemeinde Slagelse und ist durch die Große-Belt-Brücke mit Fünen verbunden. Korsør hat einen aktiven Fähr- und Industriehafen. Neben historischen Bauwerken wie der Korsør Festung prägt vor allem die Nähe zum Wasser das Stadtbild.

Dank der Bahn- und Autobahnanbindung ist Korsør verkehrstechnisch gut erschlossen und dient vielen als Wohnort mit Verbindung in größere Städte wie Slagelse oder Kopenhagen.

Korsør – coastal town on the Great Belt

Korsør is a coastal town in western Zealand, located directly on the Great Belt.

The town belongs to the municipality of Slagelse and is connected to Funen by the Great Belt Bridge. Korsør has an active ferry and industrial port. Besides historic buildings like Korsør Fortress, the proximity to the water strongly shapes the town’s character.

Thanks to railway and highway connections, Korsør is well connected and serves as a residential town with access to larger cities such as Slagelse or Copenhagen.
