Bad Segeberg – Kurstadt am Kalkberg

Bad Segeberg ist eine Stadt in Schleswig-Holstein, Deutschland und liegt etwa 50 Kilometer nordöstlich von Hamburg.

Die Stadt ist als Kurstadt bekannt. Der Zusatz „Bad“ im Namen weist darauf hin, dass sie über Heilquellen oder andere gesundheitsfördernde Einrichtungen verfügt.

Eine der markantesten Sehenswürdigkeiten ist der Kalkberg. Auf ihm befindet sich eine Freilichtbühne, auf der alljährlich die Karl-May-Spiele stattfinden. Die Aufführungen basieren auf den Abenteuern von Karl May und sind ein beliebtes Event.

Bad Segeberg is a town in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, located about 50 kilometers northeast of Hamburg.

The town is known as a spa resort. The prefix “Bad” indicates the presence of healing springs or other health-related facilities.

One of its most distinctive landmarks is the Kalkberg, a limestone hill that hosts an open-air theater. Each year, the Karl May Festival takes place here, featuring performances based on the adventure novels of Karl May.
