Sächsische Schweiz – Felsenlandschaft an der Elbe

Als Sächsische Schweiz wird der deutsche Teil des Elbsandsteingebirges in Sachsen bezeichnet. Die von bizarren Felsformen geprägte Landschaft liegt südöstlich von Dresden beiderseits der Elbe im Landkreis Sächsische Schweiz-Osterzgebirge.

Saxon Switzerland – Rock Formations along the Elbe

Saxon Switzerland refers to the German part of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains in the state of Saxony. This landscape, characterized by striking and unusual rock formations, lies southeast of Dresden on both sides of the Elbe River in the district of Sächsische Schweiz-Osterzgebirge.
