Wiesbaden – Kurstadt am Rhein

Wiesbaden ist die Hauptstadt des Bundeslandes Hessen und eine der ältesten Kurstädte Europas.

Die Stadt liegt im Südwesten Deutschlands am rechten Ufer des Rheins, gegenüber von Mainz, und gehört zur Metropolregion Frankfurt/Rhein-Main.

Bekannt ist Wiesbaden vor allem für seine heißen Thermalquellen. Insgesamt 26 heiße Quellen werden seit der Römerzeit für ihre heilenden Eigenschaften genutzt. Diese lange Tradition begründet den Ruf Wiesbadens als bedeutende Kurstadt.

Wiesbaden – Spa City on the Rhine

Wiesbaden is the capital of the German state of Hesse and one of the oldest spa towns in Europe.

The city is located in southwestern Germany on the right bank of the Rhine River, opposite Mainz, and is part of the Frankfurt/Rhine-Main metropolitan region.

Wiesbaden is especially known for its thermal springs. A total of 26 hot springs have been used for their healing properties since Roman times. This long tradition has established Wiesbaden’s reputation as a renowned spa city.
