Gradara – Burgdorf in den Marken

Gradara (im lokalen Dialekt: Gradèra) ist eine italienische Gemeinde mit rund 4.900 Einwohnern in der Provinz Pesaro und Urbino in der Region Marken.

Die Gemeinde liegt etwa 11 Kilometer nordwestlich von Pesaro und rund 26 Kilometer nordöstlich von Urbino. Die Adriaküste befindet sich nur gut drei Kilometer nordöstlich.

Gradara ist Mitglied der Vereinigung I borghi più belli d’Italia („Die schönsten Orte Italiens“). Besonders sehenswert ist die imposante Burg von Gradara, die das Ortsbild prägt.

Gradara – Castle Village in the Marche Region

Gradara (local dialect: Gradèra) is an Italian municipality with around 4,900 inhabitants in the province of Pesaro and Urbino in the Marche region.

It is located about 11 kilometers northwest of Pesaro and approximately 26 kilometers northeast of Urbino. The Adriatic coast lies just over three kilometers to the northeast.

Gradara is a member of the association I borghi più belli d’Italia (“The Most Beautiful Villages of Italy”). The main attraction is the impressive Castle of Gradara, which dominates the townscape.
