Toronto is the largest city in Canada and the capital of the province of Ontario. With more than 2.7 million inhabitants, it is also the most populous city in the country.

The city is renowned for its cultural diversity: More than half of its residents were born outside Canada. This international character shapes the urban landscape with diverse neighborhoods, cuisines, languages and traditions.

The city’s landmark is the CN Tower, one of the tallest freestanding structures in the world. From its observation deck, visitors enjoy sweeping views of the skyline, Lake Ontario and the surrounding region.
